Terms of Service
These terms apply when you buy from us through this website. Please read them. By placing an order you agree to them.
Who we are
This website is operated by Gemelli Brand Management Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 10364485, trading as The Greengrocer & Deli.
You can reach us at:
The Greengrocer & Deli

Where these terms say "we", "us" or "our", they mean Gemelli Brand Management Limited.
Placing an order
When you place an order you are making an offer to buy from us. A contract is formed when we confirm your order is being prepared, not when you place it.
We may decline an order. The most common reasons are that something is out of stock, we have spotted a pricing error, or the delivery address is outside the areas we cover. If we decline, you will not be charged, or we will refund you in full.
Prices and availability
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where it applies. Most fresh food is zero rated for VAT.
We sell fresh food, so availability changes. If something you ordered is not available we will contact you before your order is ready.
Weights shown on fresh items are approximate. We will always give you at least the weight you ordered.
We try hard to keep prices right, but if we spot an obvious error in the price of something you have ordered, we will contact you before preparing it and you can confirm the correct price or cancel.
Payment
Payment is taken when you place your order, through our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details.
Collection and delivery
How and when you get your order is set out in our Collection and Delivery Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Returns and refunds
Your rights to cancel, return and get a refund are set out in our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: fresh and perishable items cannot be returned because you have changed your mind, items that keep can be returned within 14 days, and anything faulty or wrong is always put right.
Descriptions and photographs
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Photographs are there to show you what a product is, and fresh produce naturally varies in size, shape and colour.
Allergies and intolerances
If you have an allergy or intolerance, please contact us before ordering. We handle a wide range of foods, including nuts, dairy, gluten and other allergens, in a small shop, so we cannot guarantee that any item is free from traces of them.
Always check the packaging on the item you receive. Where product information on this website differs from the label on the product, the label is correct.
Your account and your details
If you create an account, keep your password to yourself. Please give us accurate contact and address details, because we cannot deliver to an address we do not have.
How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Our responsibility to you
If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking them. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable.
We do not exclude or limit our responsibility to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for breaking your legal rights in relation to the products we sell.
Things outside our control
Occasionally something outside our control stops us doing what we said we would, such as severe weather, a supplier failing us, or an unexpected closure. If that happens we will contact you as soon as we can and either agree a new time or refund you.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with anything, please contact us first and give us the chance to fix it. Most things are sorted out with a phone call.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute can be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
