Refund policy
Refunds and returns
We want you to be happy with everything you buy from us. If you are not, tell us and we will put it right.
If something is not up to standard
If any item arrives or is collected in poor condition, is not what you ordered, or is not as described, contact us and we will replace it or refund it. We would rather do that than have you keep something we would not buy ourselves.
Please tell us as soon as you can, and on the same day where fresh produce is involved, so that we can see the problem while it is still there to see. A photograph is helpful but not essential.
Fresh and perishable items
Fresh fruit, vegetables, salad, dairy, deli items, bread and anything else that goes off quickly cannot be returned simply because you have changed your mind. This is because they are perishable, and the law recognises that they cannot be resold once they have left us.
This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, not as described, or not what you ordered. Those rights always apply.
Everything else
For items that keep, such as jams, chutneys, tinned and dried goods, wholefoods, oils and store cupboard products, you have 14 days from receiving your order to change your mind and let us know, and a further 14 days to return them to us.
They need to come back unopened, unused and in a condition we could sell again. Return them to the shop, or arrange it with us. You pay the cost of returning them unless the item was faulty or wrong.
Once we have them back, we will refund you within 14 days.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card or payment method you paid with. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
Cancelling an order before it is ready
If you need to cancel or change an order, contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best. If we have not started picking it yet, that is usually straightforward.
